Gothic

I had a bad feeling that for tonight's blog(which is my 50th!!) I wasn't going to have much to write about, it was cold out there and I only ended up with 32 moths in the trap BUT one of them was new to my garden and what a beauty!.
The trap was out from 9pm to 3:15am

  1. 50 trappings later, it doesn't seem that many! your still getting more Large Yellow Underwing's than me! I seem to be plagued by Setaceous Hebrew Character's, 59 yesterday evening!

Nice Gothic, it is infact the rather beautiful Feathered Gothic, a Moth that is annual in my Garden but the most i've ever had per year is 3!

  2. It's only 41 trappings(at home) but 50 blog posts, I debated on Feathered Gothic but the antennae didn't look right?
The L.Y.U can be a bit annoying(the cockroach of the moth world!) but it's slightly better than getting nothing!.
