Strange but in a good way

It was fairly cold tonight and as expected there weren't a huge amount of moths around the trap but each time I went out to check I found something new or interesting such as an immaculate Vapourer Moth which was much nicer than the tatty looking example I got last time. I got a Large Wainscot and a Red-Green Carpet both new species for my garden and even some of the micros were new to me so all in all a good night even if there weren't a lot of moths.
The trap was out from 8:45pm to 3:15am

  3. Yes and yes, right on both counts Ben, I didn't think a Bulrush Wainscot was likely in the Midlands which is why I went for Large Wainscot instead....thanks for confirming my suspicions.
